I remember where I was when I first heard the news that John had been fatally shot............always will remember how sad I felt at that time having been a fan of his work and only 18 years old at the time, so sad that we didn't have the chance to see and hear his future with us. We miss you John and all that you stood for will continue Love and peace Jackie xx

Johnny Winston Lennon, what a great man. It saddens me that we had to lose him so quickly. I think of him every day. He will be greatly missed.

Hard to believe it has been 30yrs since the passing of John Lennon. As many of you are doing I play his music often and he will always be a part of music in my life (one of his great tunes)and my children's lives- I heard "Because" (by the Dave Clark Five) sung by Julian Lennon and it is a touching, haunting resemblance to his father's voice. Can't seem to find it on itunes yet. My prayers go out to Yoko Ono Lennon, Sean, and Julian and Cynthia.

John looks so happy in that video. One of his greatest songs.

Lennon made us those, who we are today. He fought for us, trying to change something or someone. And, maybe slowly, maybe killing his fighters, but the world has changed. It is better, it is freer, it is lighter. Love U. Thank U. RIP.

John have inspired me in so many ways that even I can't remember. Since I was a little baby(thanks to my father),I have listened to The Beatles and as I grew older I developed a special bond with him. As a musician/songwriter in The Beatles or solo,or as a political activist he caught my attention, and surprise surprise, he's my favourite Beatle. I love him and miss him, even though I never met him or lived in the same decade. But he will always have a place in heart and I'll do as much as I can to keep his memory alive! Happy birthday John.
