although we have variously remembered george throughout places in this forum, it has been rightly observed by our new member leibe that there was no proper place to come and grieve at least virtually on his much too soon digged grave, so here it is, and here i start with the first virtual buch of flowers, and here goes the first virtual note: [glow=red,2,300] my dear george paul's called you his "baby brother", which shows you just how much he loved you and still does, in spite of whatever arguments that might have passed between you at times. which is exaclty how much WE love you, for although we did not know you phisically we heard you talk to us for years, through the beautiful words of your songs, which well demonstrate how your "babyness" was purely a matter of age - not of talent or humanity. of that, you'll always be a shining example, because YOUR SOUL LIVES FOREVER IN YOUR MUSIC, AND YOUR MUSIC LIVES FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS. REST IN PEACE,you not quite so quiet beatle[/glow] real love jude, grieving

few days ago it was the third, sad anniversary of george's death. i wrote this for him, hope he likes it. real love jude 29 NOVEMBER BEAUTIFUL BABY BEATLE Funny Runny Nose drops from my eyes Mingled by those the skies Cannot restrain from crying At the thought of you dying Three years are a long time indeed So how is it possible I should need You still My will Is very weak you see Though you are free Now from pain I cannot restrain From feeling it within Me burned by the sin Of egoism Other ism You have over and over warned Me about and yet I never learned A thing If I sing Your legacies it does not mean that I do Not need you by my side so as to egg me On to guide Me outside Lead this apple scruff in the fog and in the rain Until the concealed sun’ll decide to come again Until I find the shine of the heart Please don’t you let me fall apart Sure you’ll help me although You’re entirely free to say no A wing brushes softly against my face The rainbow created reaches into space Parts the waters that did linger As the show awaited its singer To intone a number I’ll no more lumber Instead I’ll hold my head up high Stride on without a backward sigh I’ll chant along with a smile and I know My beautiful baby beatle will do it also.

I can't believe six years has passed since we lost George. Still deep in our hearts. Thanks for the music.
