I have been having this debate on another forum, so I thought I would start it here, to see what people think.
Did the Beatles continue for too long? Lennon did say he wanted to leave the Beatles as early as 1966.

I feel they split up at exactly the right time; rather than dragging on and damaging their reputation like the stones did.
It's better to burn out than to fade away.

It is a bit nostalgic, but i guess they finished at the right time. One or two albums more would have been good, lol.

I think that they finished at just the right time.However,I do feel that if John hadnt met Yoko thet MAY have lasted perhaps another year.Possibly.
