LIVERPOOL BEATLEWEEK. AUGUST, 2003.Liverpool has reported that the 2003 Mathew Street Festival was the biggest yet, and the whole 2003 Beatleweek was the most successful ever. thanks for the uploading help doc, it was so nice to see some of my beatleweek photos finally on the forum... now people will truly understand what i mean when i say that at least i have a backlog of memories!!! hope you lot all enjoy them... i also hope to manage to get some more scanned, keep your fingers crossed!!! love  jude ps: i'm the one on the right, with the fab lennon cap and the fab lennon tee and the fab lennon attitude  !!! |

hello... just here to do a bit of commentating to piccies that wouldn't need to be commentate if you just had been there and tasted the atmosphere for yourselves... since *sigh* too many of you weren't, here i go!!! 1) the "live peace" concert in chavasse park, reacreating john / george / dylan / et al.'s historic show... it was just fabulous, except the dylan tribute band which kept forgetting lyrics and solos all around the place!!! this is a shot of a minimal part of the huge audience, which believe me made quite an effect... i mean as soon as we came in view of the place, my friend's comment was: "whoa, this looks like woodstock"!!! 2) me and my friends inside the cavern walks, home to various beatles bars and shops - not to mention this groovy sort of statue thing here... sorry i'm obscuring ringo, i didn't realize... i would have never... ever. 3) a little child in chavasse park, with a cuuuuuute tee i'd give anything to fit into!!! - you gotta start 'em young!!! 4) me on the day of the victoria street concert with sebastian, the amazingly dashing and amazingly good guitarist from the swedish band liverpool. 5) me very early one morning at the adeplhi hotel, with the oh so hot oh so talented australian beatal max!!! 6) max again - i've got truckloads of piccies of him  - doing his lennon best at the cavern. he actually had a jacket at the beginning of that show but he begged the audience to let him take it off, or else he would just have fainted. for when they rebuilt the place, they rebuilt it exactly as it once was - no windows, no air conditioning, no space, no air. 7) chavasse park again. - you gotta start 'em younger!!! love jude, still scanning ps: am i good at taking piccies or what?! |
