I'd like to know your opinion cause when a beatle fan asks me which is my favorite album,i answer the white album and then his or her face turns like this: , or like this ....i dont know. Somebody told me: they are experimenting very much.....Bu t where's the problem?i find the result of the experiments quite good....whats your opinion on this?

I love the White Album because it has so many different types of music on it. It's not my favourite album though, because there are a few songs that I don't like much. I don't think it's too experimental (apart from maybe Revolution 9). By the way, Sophie, John Lennon once said that the White Album was his favourite album too.

There is so much variety on the White Album, that it would be difficult to choose just one song. All the songs are great and the Beatles expanded music beyond all bounds with this masterpiece.

That's what I love about the White Album, too - the fact that there's so much variety on it you can always find a song to suit your mood.

The Beatles (White Album) was the beginning of the end for the group. The final collaborations came on Sgt.Pepper, and after Brian Epstein died, the Beatles disintegrated. Each track was written by either John, Paul, George or Ringo. As John once said, it became, Paul and his band, George and his band, etc. So really it wasn't as experimental as say Revolver, it was just a collection of individual takes.
