Ooh, I'd sleep in a John themed bedroom! Ah, who am I kidding; I would like John to be IN the bedroom. It looks to be very interesting; thanks for posting the link!

Fab Four statues move in to new city hotel
Source: Liverpool Echo
The Beatles are here, there and everywhere at Liverpool’s new Hard Day’s Night hotel.
And that includes 30ft above the pavement on the outside of the four-star hotel building.
Seven foot tall statues of the Fab Four will grace the front of the new North John Street landmark which is due to open this autumn.
The figures have been created by city sculptor David Webster, 61, at his studios in Sandhills.
Mr Webster, who designed the Cavern Wall of Fame, created the new John Lennon statue when the hotel plan was first discussed several years ago.
He said: “At that stage it didn’t happen, but when the hotel was back on, the developers said they loved the Lennon statue and asked me to do the rest of the band.”
Mr Webster, who used to go to the Cavern in the 1960s, said the bronze-look glassfibre statues had been inspired by the period in the Beatles’ lives when they were at their happiest.
It took him a year to complete the four.
He added: “George is taken from around the time of the concert for Bangladesh, John in New York, Paul in his Wings period, and Ringo at around the same time.
“I think the Hard Day’s Night hotel is a great project and I can’t wait to see it finished.”
Mr Webster is now working on small models of the statues which will be available to buy in the hotel’s gift shop.
The £18m hotel is based in a grade II listed building on the corner of North John Street and Mathew Street.
Each of the 110 rooms have a Beatle-inspired name, and will feature an original artwork by American artist Shannon framed above the bed.

I found this update about the hotel. The Hard Days Night Hotel opens in Liverpool on February 1, 2008.In Liverpool, UK (the birthplace of the Beatles), the 110-bedroom Hard Day's Night Hotel is primed to be the ultimate homage to the Beatles and their music. Each floor is dedicated to a phase in the Beatles lives, chronologically from their births, to Beatlemania, to their solo careers. Said to be the last piece in the jigsaw puzzle of the Beatles legacy, every room will tell a different part of the Beatles story. After decades of documenting the many successes and hardships of the Fab Four, the US artist known as Shannon, won the attention and adoration of Beatles fans everywhere - leading the English people to hail her as "The World's Greatest Beatles Artist." Now, Shannon, chosen out of millions of artists from all over the world, has been commissioned to paint over 110 murals for the highly anticipated Beatles Hotel, appropriately titled, A Hard Day's Night. "Each room will have a picture, which will try to capture the theme of that room. Every painting has a story to tell," said Shannon. "I want each person that sets foot in the hotel to feel as if they know exactly what was going on in the Beatles lives at that particular time."

This is what i have read recently. 'Sadly the hotel now has got a bad reputation. Complaints are being ignored, local fans are turned away and people claim that the hotel only wants rich tourists.'
Not a very good start to the new beatles hotel.

That's sad news daytripper. I haven't been yet, although I know several people who went to stay on the opening night and they liked it very much.
Liverpool Beatle Week is not long away and they will be packed out for that.

Fab four’s new look at Hard Days Night Hotelfrom liverpool echo! A NEW take on The Beatles appeared at the city’s Hard Days Night Hotel. The North John Street hotel’s gallery has bought American artist David O’Keefe’s interpretation of the Fab Four in 1969. His distinctive vision of the four lads who shook the world is a 48” x 32” giclee - a process of making fine art prints from a digital source using inkjet printing - on canvas. O’Keeffe, based in Tampa, Florida, has been satirising pop culture for 25 years. His work has appeared in cult magazine Mad, Time Magazine and Sports Illustrated.
