Former Beatle George Harrison is to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Beatles' former guitarist, who died of cancer in 2001, will receive a star on the fabled walk on April 14, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced.
His widow, Olivia Harrison, and his son, Dhani, are expected to attend the unveiling.

Harrison's star was unveiled on Tuesday in front of the Capitol Records building as McCartney, one of only two surviving Beatles, looked on. The former Beatle also offered a shout-out to hundreds of raucous fans, thanking them for showing up. Also present were Harrison's widow, Olivia, Harrison's son, Dhani, musicians Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne and actor Tom Hanks. Harrison, who died of cancer in 2001, already shares a Walk of Fame star with all four of the Beatles, but only he and John Lennon, who died in 1980, will have their own stars.
